Thoreau Demonstration Academy
Thanks to the support of Tulsa voters and funding from the 2015 Bond, Thoreau has a new HVAC system, remodeled library space, and high-quality learning resources and tools for students and teachers!
The 2021 Bond for Tulsa Public Schools will further enhance the Thoreau campus with:
- Building-wide interior remodel including renovated restrooms, flooring, painting,and other improvements;
- Upgrading the auditorium lighting and sound system and providing new stage curtains and partial seat replacement;
- Remodeling the school’s science labs and investing in STEM equipment; and
- Refreshing the school pool, improving the practice fields and providing equipment for the school’s athletic program.
