At Thoreau Demonstration Academy, our dedicated educators are committed to creating a student-centered learning community. We offer language classes in French and Spanish, Art, Music, and a range of extracurricular  activities, including debate, eSports, chess, and athletic options.

Our advisory program creates a positive, safe, and supportive school climate where students learn important life and social skills.

MicroSociety

MicroSociety is an innovative curriculum that simulates real-world economic systems. MicroSociety students gain experience solving real world problems, thinking critically, collaborating in diverse teams and connecting subject matter and experiences in ways that foster creativity.
